Complete dentures can either be a lower, upper or full set of denture(s). These are inserted into the mouth when there are no remaining natural teeth. Made from acrylic, they rest directly on the gum and underlying bone. Upper dentures are usually more stable than lower dentures because of the suction that is created from covering the roof of the mouth. Whereas the tongue can dislodge the lower denture from your lower gums.

Our dentures use superior quality European teeth available in many natural shades that have translucent incisal edging. The acrylic for the denture base is high-resilience, and very strong. 

All dentures are tailor made over 4-6 appointments – sometimes longer depending on the patients needs. Each patient is carefully examined and a treatment plan explained before reaching an agreement to begin. Patients are encouraged to bring a support person if they wish or we can phone a relative if this is required to explain treatment.
